A forthright, supportive critique follows each presentation aimed at helping the presenter to fulfill his or her goals with the project material. The workshop generally caps its season by producing an annual Spring Reading Series.
Since ARTC was formed in 1975 by Robert Elston, Elizabeth Perry and several others, a diversity of actors, writers, directors and composers have found expression in ARTCs production of full length plays, one-person shows, one-act plays, and countless staged readings of works-in-progress.
The workshop meets weekly at a convenient location in the New Yorks midtown theatrical district.
